Digital Hearing Aids

Digital Hearing Aids (Pediatric and Adults):

A portion of every hearing aid purchased is used to help underserved children and adults with speech-language or hearing problems.

Digital hearing aids contain at least one microphone to pick up sound, a computer chip that amplifies and processes sound, a speaker that sends the signal to your ear. We also dispense rechargeable hearing aids.  When you consult with our audiologist, they will consider many factors and develop a treatment plan that is right for you.

Hearing aids come in many shapes and sizes from in-the-ear styles to behind-the-ear models.  Our Center offers the latest models and styles as well as hearing aids with Bluetooth connectivity.

We offer a 30 day trial period on hearing aid purchases.  Our hearing aids are from a variety of manufacturers that offer the latest technology and we strive to accommodate all wearer’s budgets.  Hearing aid manufacturers invest heavily in research and development to the hearing needs of the hearing aid user.

Hearing Aid Fitting

Once an audiologist recommends hearing aids for you selecting and fitting the device will depend not only on the severity and type of hearing loss you have but also factors such as:

  1. Budget
  2. Cosmetic preferences
  3. Social preferences
  4. Career demands
  5. Hobbies
  6. Other physical challenges and dexterity issues
  7. Needed accessories

It is important to note there is an adjustment period when wearing new devices, and it takes time to get used to new hearing aids, even if you’ve worn some type of hearing aid for many years. We are here to help be successful with your hearing aid(s).  We have specialized equipment to perform verification measurements that assure that your hearing aid is appropriate for your hearing loss.
